Selvage Denim
| What is selvage denim?
Selvage refers to the long edge on each side of woven fabric. Selvage denim is a unique type of selvage that’s created on a shuttle loom where one continuous cross-yarn (weft) is passed back and forth through the vertical (warp) beams, and finished at both edges often with red yarn, which is referred to as “red selvage.”
