What you need

  • 1 yard jersey-knit cotton
  • Metal bangles
  • Gold jewelry wire
  • Embroidery floss in a variety of colors
  • Hot glue gun + glue sticks
  • Fabric scissors

Let's Get Started

Step 1

Cut jersey-knit cotton into pieces that are a ½-inch wide by a yard long.

Step 2

Dot a small amount of hot glue on the inside edge of your first bangle. Press one end of a fabric strip to attach it to the bangle.

Step 3

Cut off any excess fabric on the tail end. Then start wrapping tightly around your bangle. Do this until you reach the end, then use hot glue to secure.

Step 4

Tie a piece of embroidery floss around your bangle, then wrap it to create a color block. Use hot glue at the end to secure once you’ve completed each section.

Step 5

Complete! Now start stacking those bangles.
